Kansas has a chance to make history. Facing TCU for the second time this season, the Wildcats battle the Horned Frogs for their third Big 12 title. The last time was in 2012, the current offensive coordinatorColin KleinAn important catalyst for a team that took several seasons to build. Going into its first Big 12 Championship in 2003, the team had tremendous potential, but didn't break through until they beat "the greatest team in college football history," Oklahoma.
How important are these championships? Enough to officially put Kansas State on the map and add to not just the football program, but the entire university. But the question is, which games played the biggest role in the rise of Kansas football?
Was it the victory in 2003? Did Bill Snyder's first win as head coach in 1989 end a long losing streak? With endless possibilities for the most meaningful game in Kansas history, this list is hard to put together and even harder to get fans to fully agree on.
