It's not a problem against Caleb Williams that Drake Maye could turn out to be the best running back in college football in 2023. Meyer is the real deal. Unfortunately, North Carolina's defensive issues will remain. How did they replace offensive coordinator Phil Long, who left to join Wisconsin's staff?

MissPetre Thomas - USA TODAY Sport
Ole Miss benefited from a generous schedule early in the season and started 8-1 last year, but dropped the final four games of the year. Jaxson Dart and Spencer Sanders battling for the starting job should make Ole Miss a solid quarterback this fall, but the always-tough SEC West will provide landmines. Still, it's the play that defined Ole Miss' offense last season.
